bio
I have been a freelance photographer working throughout the Southwest for more than 15 years. Prior to that I was a staff newspaper photographer for Knight Ridder in Minnesota. Prior to that I was with Freedom Newspapers. Prior to that I was studying photojournalism at Western Kentucky University. Before this, I had a stint working in a factory in Connecticut testing battery acid. And prior to all of it I was bartending and ski patrolling in Colorado, my home state. As for a degree, I have two. One being the aforementioned degree in photojournalism from WKU, the other being a bachelors degree in Geology. I have never worked as a geologist and am still not really sure how I chose and/or completed it ... except that I like being outside more than I like being inside.
